Hysterical but still has some thrilling moments. The People Under The Stairs at first will
seem like a very creepy movie for the first 30 minutes but after that the comedy gates break open and the laughter breaks
through. Whether the funny moments come from one of the main characters name is Fool or actor Sean Whalens hilarious
faces and sounds he makes, this movie will make you laugh at some point. The movie is about a brother and sister
who call themselves Momma and Daddy who own a huge part of their, not so nice neighborhood and their daughter and of course
the people under the stairs. A few juvenile and armature burglars decide to break into the siblings house hold one day
to loot some of their fortune which is ironic because their house is a total slum. Long story short they break in with
the assistance of a young boy, Fool, and end up discovering something unspeakable. The boy ends up on his own, trapped
in the house and eventually becomes hunted like an animal by the man of the house bearing a leather gimp suit. The boy
eventually meets up with the brother and sisters supposedly daughter who tells Fool about the deformed inbreds know as the
people under the stairs. After escaping but failing to escape with the horribly miss treated little girl Fool, enters
the house once more to rescue the child. The movie ends with a bang and leaves you wandering about the people under
the stairs. Funny? Sure. Scary? Not quite, but it most definitely could have been.
